•100 g chopped walnuts
•100 g yellow raisins
•2 apples cut in cubes
•35 ml dark rum
•65 ml milk
•200 g sugar
•3 eggs
•100 ml vegetable oil
•300 g flour
• 16g baking powder

In a bowl, break the eggs and start mixing by adding the sugar.
Add the oil, the milk and the rum
Add the baking powder
Incorporate the flour a little at a time, continuing to mix.
Finally, add the squeezed raisins, diced apples and walnuts.
Grease and flour a 24 or 26 cm diameter cake mold and pour the dough into it.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 180° C for about 45 minutes, or in a convection oven at 170° C for 35 minutes.
At the end of cooking, insert a wooden toothpick in the donut: if it comes out dry we can take it out of the oven, otherwise we keep it in the oven for a few more minutes. Once out of the oven, wait a few minutes and remove from the mold.
Let it cool completely and then you can taste the autumn cake: it is delicious and remains soft, moist and fragrant!
