
3 dl corn flour
2 dl wheat flour
2.5 teaspoons of baking powder
2/4 dl sugar
1 tsp salt
100 g melted butter
2.5 dl milk
2 eggs
Grease a 24 cm round cake pan or cast iron well and set aside. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
In a bowl, add the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Whisk to combine well.
Add your oil or butter, milk, and eggs. Stir just until the mixture comes together and there are only a few lumps remaining.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is a deep golden brown.
